Speaking & Advocacy
Dhorea speaks openly about the conversations many people are afraid to have. She brings honesty, lived experience, and more than 20 years of work in mental health and community spaces to conversations about suicide, addiction, trauma, leadership, and healing.
Community Leadership
Through Hemi’s Holistic Healing Centre Society and her community work, Dhorea creates spaces where people can feel seen, supported, and connected. Her work focuses on recovery, care, meaningful change, and building communities where people don’t have to hide what they’re going through.
Writing & Education
As a bestselling author, researcher, and advocate, Dhorea turns complex experiences into ideas people can understand and use. Through her writing and Micro Mental Health Sessions™, she continues to challenge stigma and remind people that asking for support is not a sign that something is wrong with them.
People don’t need to be fixed. People need to be heard, understood and supported in finding their way forward.
